Thornfold Refund Policy

Version 1.0. Effective: 2026-07-11.

This is our refund policy. It is written to be fair to buyers, honest about instant digital downloads, and consistent with how our payment provider handles refunds. We do not use an "all sales final" rule.

1. The short version

If a Thornfold product does not work, is not what we described, or you were charged in error, we will make it right, including a refund where that is the fair outcome. Because our products are delivered instantly and can be downloaded and edited straight away, we handle change-of-mind requests differently from faults, as explained below.

2. We refund when there is a genuine problem

We will refund you if:

  • the files will not download or will not open, and we cannot fix your access;
  • you received the wrong product;
  • the product is materially different from how we described it on its page;
  • you were charged twice, or charged in error.

Contact us and tell us what went wrong. For a download or access problem, please give us a chance to fix the access first, because that often solves it faster than a refund.

3. Change of mind after downloading

Our products are instant digital downloads that you can keep and edit as soon as you buy them. For that reason we cannot always offer a refund simply because you have changed your mind after downloading, in the same way a shop cannot take back a digital file. If you are unsure whether a product is right for you, please look at the previews and contact us with questions before you buy. We would rather help you choose well than sell you the wrong thing.

4. Your legal rights

Depending on where you live, you may have statutory consumer rights, including in some places a short cancellation window for online purchases. Where digital goods are delivered immediately with your agreement, that window can be limited by law, but nothing in this policy tries to remove a right you have that cannot be removed. If the law where you are gives you a stronger right than this policy, the law applies.

5. How our payment provider fits in

Our payment provider acts as the merchant of record and can process refunds on our behalf. This means a refund may appear from the provider rather than from Thornfold directly. The provider may also, at its discretion, issue a refund to resolve a payment dispute. If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can sort it out quickly, rather than opening a dispute, which is slower for everyone.

6. How to ask for a refund

Email us with your order confirmation and a short description of the problem. We aim to reply promptly. If a refund is the right outcome, we will process it to your original payment method.

7. Timing

Approved refunds are processed as soon as we can. The time for the money to reach your account depends on your bank or card provider and is outside our control.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy for future purchases. The version that applied when you bought governs your purchase.

9. Contact

For any refund question, contact us. We would always rather help than hide behind fine print.
